Hi Richard! I read your post and was curious if you are related to my husband's family. His grandfather, Russell Kiser, lived in Cherokee Falls, SC, which is a small town outside of Gaffney. I'm not sure who his parents were, but being so close (geographically), they might be related to your great-grandfather. My father-in-law, James Kiser, was born and raised in Cherokee Falls----he may know something too about your family, I'll ask him next time we visit.

I'd love to know if you've found out anything more---
