Need John Kiser/Peter Kiser help

I am looking for help verifying that my gggrandmother, Elizabeth Kiser, who married Edward Applegate, is the decendant of John Kiser, b 1719 in Germany. I was given the information that John,(Johannes Keyser)had a son Peter, who married Catherine Young. They produced a son, also named John, who then had a daughter, Elizabeth. I need help verifying this lineage. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
