Annual Kiser Cousin Get-Together; CALLING ALL COUSINS!

If you're interested in GENEALOGY or FAMILY HISTORY, this will be fun and informative for you.

Announcing!
Saturday, June 21st, 2003, floating hours from 9AM to 5PM, Friendship Baptist Church in
Germanton North Carolina will host a Stokes County Kiser Cousin Get-Together in the Fellowship
Hall. There will be a covered dish lunch at 1PM, so just bring a dish and join us. Everyone is
welcome to come learn, share and discuss family history and genealogy; and meet other cousins,
descendants and ancestors of all surnames. You don't have to be a Kiser to be a cousin.
All are welcome. We also have field trips planned to visit the old Kiser Family Cemetary,
which is located very near Friendship Baptist Church. This cemetary is the burial site for many of
our ancestors, including John S. Kiser, his wife, Phoebe Fesler Kiser, as well as several of their
many children, who are our distant KISER GRANDPARENTS or COUSINS. We'll review the
known inhabitants of the graveyard before we go so you can visit your specific grandparents or
cousins, while you are there. Either dress accordingly or bring woodsy clothes to change into,
it has some fallen trees and a few briars and bushes around it. We will have a tractor, with a trailer,
to take you most of the way there, much like a hayride. A path has been cut from the tractor
drop-off point to the graveyard, but it is in the woods. The distance from the drop-off point to the
graveyard is about a level 200 ft.

Contact Kiser Cousins for more info, at kisercousins@aol.com.
