I'm sorry I dont know any more than you do about PHEREBY KEEN or her mother - but I am descended from Phereby's brother, WILLIS KEEN and his wife, MARGARET ELIZABETH SCOTT, thru their son, James Tully Keen; then thru their son, William "Rufus" Keen, who was my grandfather.
I'd love to discuss this family with you further, if interested.

My brother, a "Keene", has just completed the Ydna testing for the Keene line - will be glad to share results with anyone interested. We ARE *NOT* descended from "JOHN KEEN * ELIZABETH CURLEE."

ps I suspect that our Willis' father WILLIAM KEEN *may * have been son of WILLIAM KEEN & CHRISTIAN KEEN.... a few of us are working on proving or disproving that.
