I am searching for information on James Keen who was born in Brighton, UK, in 1825 and moved to Lambeth in London before he was 16, dying there in 1907. He married a Susannah and had several children, one of whom was my G G Grandfather. James' father was also called James and was born in 1786 - I don't know where, but clearly the Brighton area is a possibility.
James senior married a Sophia and was in Lambeth, London, by 1841. He was a carpenter.
Does anyone have any connections with the Keens of Brighton please? Thank you. All information gratefully received and shared with joy!
