Brigid Kane married Patrick Francis Powers in Waterford. The Waterford Heritage Society found a similar match but I am looking for something to verify the following I recieved: Power Patrick wife Brigid Keane 22 Feb 1857
Witnesses Mullany Thomas and Mary McGrath
Marriage Register M/1848-1924 Pg 14 parish Kilgobinet Waterford.
I understand that Powers & Power are interchangeable I did not know that Kane and Keane were interchangeable. I have towo childrens records that profess births in Ireland James Joseph and Anastacia (stacia) on their wedding certificates as well as census data and immigration dates of abt 1884. The Heritage society could not find them so perhaps I have the wrong irish county.
Is this line being researched by anyone else? Pat & Brigid Powers lived in lower Manhattan. Their parish was church of Saint Peter on Barclay Street (world trade center area). Thanks for your time & trouble !
