I'm interested in your Kane family because my greatgrandmother was Catherine (or Mary or Mary Catherine)Kane whose family came in 1847 or 1853 and settled in Worcester, MA. Eventually at least part of this family settled in MN. They arrived in Boston on "President" with Owen, Mary, Margaret, Bart and Edward. They were born 1833-1848. In our family was a monogrammed piece with "DK" on it and I was told it came from the Kane family. I don't have a first name for "D". Catherine married James Melady, also from the Worcester area, specifically Cherry Valley. Good luck, Carol Melady Welle
