A John Kane (that we thought was one of our 8 Kane ancestors from County Clare, Ire.), married and Ellen Kane in KC,Mo. in 1870. As it appears now Ellen was actually one of our Kanes and we don't know who this John Kane was. I believe this John had a brother Thomas (who was a witness listed on John's marriage record) and a brother Patrick who appears as witness on some baptismal records. Patrick is listed on the 1870 Missouri, Jackson County census and on the 1880 St. Louis census. Patrick and John's death records indicate born Ireland, unknown county and unknown parents. Patrick born 1841, Thomas 1843 and John 1845. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
