I've been searching for information about Shirley KANE born 14 Aug 1920 in Washington DC died Oct 1992 in Madison, Lake co, Ohio daughter of Morgan Lewis KANE and Wilhemina L CORBLEY. Her sister Thelma Verne (KANE) HENDERSON died 9 Dec 1969 in Washington, DC; a brother Richard E KANE born 1922 died 3 May 2007 age 84 of Phoenix, Maricopa co, Arizona and a brother Morgan Lewis KANE Jr born 1916 in Delaware lives in Morristown, NJ. Shirley KANE married Raymond Alfred "Pete" RIPPIN (1917-1988) -they lived in Lake county and Ashtabula county, Ohio and had a son and daughter.
I received the following obituary BUT this Richard KANE is NOT Shirley's brother. I'm including it here as it might help someone else.
Obit: The Arizona Republic (Phoenix, AZ) Thurs 24 May 2007 pg B6: "Richard L. "Dick" KANE, 72, of Sun City, AZ passed away May 17, 2007. He was born in Cambridge, Massachusetts and has resided in Arizona since 1975. He retired from the US Air Force after 23 years of service. Survivors include his wife Yvonne of Sun City. Children: Ann Van Note of Chandler and David KANE of Albany, NY. Step-children: Marty Schrader, Daniel Snyder, Jim Snyder, Cheryl Templin, Cynthia Gordon and Everett Kile, sisters Virginia Krysak, Barbara Simpson and Alice Kane, 15 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by step-son Larry Snyder and brothers Paul & Robert KANE. A memorial mass will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, May 25, 2007 at St. Clement of Rome Catholic Church, 15800 N. Del Webb Blvd., Sun City, AZ. Interment will follow at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona. Donations are suggested to the St. Vincent De Paul Society, P.O Box 13600, Phoenix, AZ 85002."
