She was widowed before 1794 when she married Jesse Pipkin. She had 5 children at the time and all where adopted by Jesse Pipkin. Researching her first husband and have hit a brick wall. I am descended from Abraham M. Pipkin. I found a William Kain 1790 SC census for Camden area but can't connect him to Mary. Anyone found anything?
