Hi Wilma, James B. Kain's parents were James Kain, and Alice T. Hall, James did have a brother Clarence C. Kain born 24 Mar 1905 and died 06 Aug 1970 last known address was in Lake City, Arkansas, I have no records of their sister. Clarence married Gertie M. (unknown) their children were Clyde " Whimp" Kain Sr., Shirley Kain,Cliff "Bud" Kain, Billy J. Kain, & Dorothy Kain (Sims).
parents of Alice T. Hall(Kain) were Benjamin Hall and Elisabeth Davis, and Ben & Elisabeth children were Rebecca Hall (Corley), William B. Hall, Mary A. Hall, Delia Lenora Hall (Barton) who was my great grandmother, John A. Hall, Rufus L. Hall and your Alice T. Hall (Kain).
Benjamim Hall was the son of William Hall & China Woods, William's parents were Joseph Hall and Mahala Welborn who moved to Marion County, Arkansas in the 1830s. China Woods was the daughter of Benjamin ( Cedar Ben ) Woods and Milley Jackson. Elizabeth Davis (Hall) was the daughter of Alfred Davis and Mary (Polly) Cowan out of DeKalb County, Alabama, moving to Marion County, AR in the 1850s.
