Jane,
I have an Etta (Henrietta) Wallnau Kahn in my records. If it is the same person she had a sister Mynolia known to me as aunt Minnie. From what I can gather they lived in the New Bern NC area. Minnie married my maternal grandfather's brother Robert Hutton.

Does this ring any bells?
