resaerching the Cane or Kahn family of Waldeck,Hesen, Germany from about 1835. They came to USA about 1869 or so.
They all lived in Vermont for a while and then some of them
went on to NY City. Looking for Solomon and Fanny/Hannaah
Hechinger or Hechen Cane or Kahn. Looking for Marccus
Cane or Kahn and his wife Carrie or possibly Caroline Speyer
who were the parents of Solomon, Isaac, Jacob and Nathan.
Isaac married Bertha Hechinger or Hechen sister to wife
of Solomon Cae who was either Fanny or Hannah? Jacob married
Fanny Benjamin, and Nathan married an Amelia ?abt 9 Feb 1861
Amelia was from Baden...Most of this grouping went from
VT too NY City...
