Evelyn Louise (Otto) Jeschke Obit
DOWAGIAC — Evelyn Louise Jeschke, age 88, of Dowagiac died Wednesday, Feb. 27, 2008, at the Lynwood Manor Nursing Home in Adrian.
She was the youngest child of Ludwig Otto and Alvina Dumrie Otto of Weesaw Township, born on Oct. 14, 1919. She was preceded in death by her husband, the Rev. Adolf Jeschke.
Evelyn is survived by her sons and daughters-in law, Ernest and Joan Jeschke of Adrian; Carl Jeschke of San Jose, Calif., Frederic and Patricia Jeschke of Baytown, Texas. She is also survived by nine grandchildren in Michigan, Indiana and Texas, 21 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren as well as many great neices and nephews.
She was retired from Heddon’s Bait and Tackle where she had worked for many years. She was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Dowagiac.
Memorial services will be held on Saturday, March 1, 2008, at 1 p.m. at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Dowagiac, the Rev. J. Weber officiating. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to St. John’s Lutheran Church.
