My ancestor John Hughes married Mary (Polly) Williams Jean in 1805. Her father was named William. The marriage was in Albemarle County, Virginia. According to the little information, I have found, I believe Polly's sister was Sally Jean and she married a Johnson. I can't find any information on this family other than the census records, and I do have the names of their children. Their son, John J. Hughes is my direct ancestor. Hope you can help.
