I'm looking for information on my grandmother and her family. She was born Yvonne Marie JEAN at Hull, Quebec on 2 Dec 1905, the d/o Etienne JEAN and Pomela SEGUIN. According to the 1901 census, they were living in the District of LABELLE, Sub-district Lochaber. Etienne was born 4 Sept 1856 and his wife Pomela was born 27 Apr 1872. Their children at that time were: Joseph 1883, Marie Anne 1887, Arthur 1893, Omer 1896, Dominique 1898, Dorina 1899 and Andre 1900.
The 1911 census has them at Hull with additional children: Rosina 1901, Ivone (Yvonne) 1904, Armand 1906, Ernest 1908 and Hermine 1911.
Yvonne married Ferdinand ROCHON (1900-1977)(raised by step-father, Felix COURCHENE) at Noelville on 21 June 1920. They lived in Hearst, Gogama, Toronto, Sarnia and Dwight, Ontario that I know of. Yvonne died 23 Nov 1974 and Ferdinand died 26 July 1977.
