I have some information on Jesse Jean that you may not have. I'm not a Jean desendant but would be interested in the Jeans who went from NC to SC and TN as they may have traveled with some of my ancestors; namely the Bennetts.

Jesse Jean's Plantation is mentioned on survey in Knox Co., KY in 1815 and I suspect that the Bennetts in Knox, KY may have migrated from VA to NC to SC to TN to KY. My ancestor, Amos Bennett was born 1791 TN.
