Angelia, I have some information on Jesse Jean that you may not have. I'm not a Jean desendant but would be interested in the Jeans who went from NC to SC and TN as they may have traveled with some of my ancestors; namely the Bennetts. You wrote: "We can't find where our Philip, David and Jesse of Chatham County, NC fit into this line but dna connects us to the families in TN and SC." Jesse Jean's Plantation is mentioned on survey in Knox Co., KY in 1815 and I suspect that the Bennetts in Knox, KY may have migrated from VA to NC to SC to TN to KY. My ancestor, Amos Bennett was born 1791 TN.
