Aloha Jean,

I happened to come across your message to Latie about Pahukoa family. I did go to the family reunion of the Pahukoa and any others within the Tau'a family. I would like to introduce myself. My name is Bernadine Sandou. I am married to a man from India which is my second marriage. I am the daughter of Gabriel Kanamu Tau'a and his parents are Gabriel Kanamu Tau'a and Helen Kahalekai Pahukoa. I believe Latie said that Helen Kahalekai Pahukoa is her mother-in-law. I am interested in Latie's full name and whom she is married to.

I live in Laie, have visited Maui many times because this is the island my ancestors has come from. Of course the family of Tau'a begins from Tahiti.

Do you know, as I continue to read your message to Latie, I almost believe you were once married to my uncle Denver (keala) because you mentioned that your son Tom live's in Maui, and I do know of a Tom, son of Keala. Are you aunty Jeannie? because this is Bernadine!

I have just now joined this website and got interested in it cause I saw the ocnversation between you and Latie. By the way I do have a copy of the Pahukoa booklet.

Please respond back to me? if any one knows about the Manono family, I would appreciate information.

Mahalo,
bernadine (Tau'a) Sandou
