I am also researching the JAAP surname, though mine originated in Paisley. Some of the certificates that I've acquired relate to your line. You may already have them, but if not let me know and I'll send the details.

Death 1900 William JAAP son of Thomas JAAP/Isabella MENZIES
Death 1891 George JAAP son of Thomas JAAP/Isabella MENZIES
Death 1866 Alexander JAAP son of Walter JAAP/Agnes GARDNER
Death 1862 Thomas JAAP (wife Isabella MENZIES)
Death 1876 Isabella JAAP (m/s MENZIES)
I've also collected a few certs that relate to Alexander JAAP's
family (son of Walter JAAP and Agnes GARDNER).
