Hello, I am new to this FORUM and would appreciate some guidance. I am trying to find more information concerning my son-in-laws family who emigrated to the US in the early 1900’s. 1. I have old letters and Official Hungarian documents that I would like to have translated (Hopefully at a low cost or free). Are there any good web sites that could help me with this? 2. Are their any on-line sites that might be good research for the following two individuals in Hungary to find their parents and siblings? Janos “Joseph” Charles Gyorkos, born May 12, 1882 in Kismaros, Pest County, Hungary. Emigrated May 2, 1907 to the U.S. (I believe his father and mother were Frank and Rose Gyorkos). Maria “Mary” Mate, born September 14, 1895 in Oltarc, Zala County, Hungary. Emigrated to the U.S. through Ellis Island May 9, 1912 aboard the SS Ivernia. I believe that both individuals were Catholic; but I am not certain. Any help to find these families ancestors would be greatly appreciated. Thank you very much!
