I am still, 10 yrs later, reserching my family tree and I am still at a road block. My GGrandparents came from Hungary. My GGrandfather Janos Szucs (John Furrier) b 4/28/1885 in Budapest. Worked in a bicycle Shop. Then was in the Hungarian Army until he had to leave due to a sward duel. He worked as a gardner for 7 years before he came to the US around 1900 - 1912.

My GGrandmother Emma Schuchetka b 6/12/1893 in Kiskemloc, Hungary. She ran away to the US in 1912. According to her arrival records she was single and came to live with her sister Rosalie, who paid her passage. Rosalie was maried to Franz Kitzinger. She may or may have not married Janos. Unable to locate any marriage records.

I would love to hear from anyone with possible leads for me to search or a possible connection, I am at a dead end.

Thanks
Sandra
