Can anyone help me with the Richard Horn(e) family of White or Overton Co, TN? This is not the same Richard Horne family who lived in Wilson Co., TN.
There were five children named in a White Co, TN deed of gift of 15 Dec 1806 (Bk A, p 65) from Richard Horn, Sr. At this time Richard is identified as "Richard Horn, Senr of Overton Co, TN". A Richard Horn is shown in 1778 Surry Co, NC tax roll. Is this the same Richard?
This may have been a Tory family - a son (Richard, Jr or Willey/Wiley) married Nancy Pace, a granddaughter of Tory John Pace and a daughter (Sarah) married William, Jr, a son of Tory William Ridge.
A "Milly" has been identified as wife of Richard Horn, but it is unknown if she was the wife of Richard Sr or Jr.
