Hinkle/Hinkel), born 1843, in the 1870 Aurora, Buck Prairie Twp, Lawrence Co, MO Cenus age 27, and living in Nescopeck, Luzerne Co, PA census with his half-brother Daniel Hinkel and also is the same John Horn, Jr. b 1843 d 1931 in Decatur, Benton Co., Ark married Mary Elizabeth George. The Ester is Esther Shane/Shoen/Schoen Hinkle whose first husband, George Hinkel died in 1834. Listed next in the Church records is: A child born 1828, baptized 16 May 1841 at Shaffers St. James Church, Zenith, in Nescopeck Twp., son of GEORGE and ESTER HÜNCLE. (The child was William Benjamin Hinkel-baptised when he was age 13). John Horn, enlisted 2/1865 ---- 1868 WILLIAM HINKLE and ESTHER (Schoen/Shoen)/Shane Hinkle Horn move to Aurora, Lawrence County, Missouri from Jeddo, Luzerne Co, PA. Esther may have moved there earlier with Harvey Shane and wife Rachel Waters, from Indiana, with someone else, or her body was taken to Aurora, MO for burial. She is buried exactly seventeen feet due East of the flagpole of the Old Aurora Cemetery on the North half, 1st burial, 1st row. Then measure four inches due North. Their son was James Harvey Smith, from Indiana who served in the Union in Ind. as a Capt., appointed by the Indiana governor. Married Rachel Waters.
