So far I have Hans Rupert b abt 1584 in Baden Germany m Elisabetha. their son was Philipp Ludwig Rupert (Ruppert) b 1610 Germany m Barbara Knauer. Their son was Adam Erik Rupert b 1680 m Magdalena Ritter Their son was Johann Adam Rupert b 1706 in Germany died 1781 in York He was a tailor and immigrated on 9/21/1731 on the Brittania. He married Anna Barbara Holtzapfel Their son John Dietrich Rupert b DEc 1740 MANCHESTER Township York Co., PA baptized April 5, 1741 In York He m (2) Elizabeth Messenheimer 1804 Christ Lutheran Church.She was born in Bucks co in 1768 and died in 1834 in W. Manchester, York Co. He died in Sept 1820 and is buried in Manchester Twnshp YOrk Co. Their daughter Barbara was born in Oct 1804 . She married John Witmayer (Witmyer) Their son was Jacob Andrew Witmyer b Feb 3, 1839 I do not have his wife's maiden name. I believe her given name was Lovina. All parents were born in PA. Jacob's daughter was Emma Jane Witmayer who married (2) Walter Franklin Horn, my gr grandparents. Their children were William H Horn (my grandfather) and Paul Ivan Horn. My mother was born in York in 1916. Her name was Esther M. Horn. My family on my mother's side has a long history in York and at Christ Lutheran Church. I have vague memories of my great grandmother Emma Jane Witmyer Erwin Horn who died in 1953.
John Dietrich's first wife was Maria Margaret Schultz. Elizabeth Messenheimer's first husband was Erasmus Holtzapple
