This definitely looks like a descendant of Littleton Horn & Ariadne Hoover (sometimes spelled Ari Edna), with the names of this couple's children, all reflecting back into the right family, in my opinion. While I haven't had time to hit the census records I have here at the house, this looks to be the grandson of Warren Horn & Synthia Lancaster Horn, with Synthia being the daughter of Warren't 1st cousin, Fannie Horn, daughter of Aaron Horn & Peggy (MNU)Horn of Madison Co, KY (a neighboring county to Estill); somewhere here in my file cabinet I have a picture of George W Horn's brother, Albert Maywood Horn, that was made somewhere in MO; the name Coleman D is a name used extensively in this line, with it falling down to my grandpa (Coleman D Gray), son of George's sister, Mary Ellen Horn who married Wm Jefferson (Will) Gray); the name falls to my uncle, his son, my brother, etc; I don't know anything about the Ellen Katherine Horn you mention, but the names you've thrown out sure do bring about a lot of memories my Pa Gray left me with...what I'm wanting to know is this: have you ever run across George W Horn's grandparents anywhere? I'm speaking of Warren Horn & Synthia Lancaster Horn, it seems they left here somewhere after 1860 census and I've not seen hide nor hair of them after that. Surely they're out there on census somewhere, but where? I'm thinking they might have gone westward due to a problem Warren had in the logging business. Any help appreciated...and thanks for your post...you made my day this morning...Diana
