William Hix Horne was married to Ruby L. Gose sometime before 1905. Their marriage record is not in Wise Co VA records as far as I know and may have been in a different county/state. I have another spouse named Ella, but I don't know when Hix married her. I don't have Bryon, Mildred, and Louise listed as children of Ruby, but then again, I haven't located the family in the 1920 census yet. Children I have from the 1930 census are: Ira, Earl, Kathryn, William, Thelma, Fred, and R. J. Horne.
* William Hix Horne was son of Jesse Franklin Horne and Nancy V. Bush.
** Jesse Franklin Horne was son of Jesse F. Horne, Sr. and Jane Belcher.
*** Jesse F. Horne, Sr. was son of Jesse Horne and Nancy Langley.
**** Jesse Horne was son of John Horne and Sarah Perkins.
My line is through Jesse Horne and Nancy Langley's oldest son Nicholas Johnson Horne and his wife Nancy Virginia Donahue.
