HORN--BUCHANAN--BOZARTH--MEANS in Kentucky

Nancy BUCHANAN, daughter of Simeon BUCHANAN and Amelia Spaulding, married Blancett Shacklett HORNE in 1831 in Meade County KY. He was the son of Thomas HORNE (b. ca 1774) of Fayette County PA. Thomas HORNE and wife Priscilla Shacklett came to Kentucky ca 1796.
A half sister of Nancy, Lucretia Jane BUCHANAN, daughter of Simeon BUCHANAN and his second wife Rachel HARNED, married Thomas DeKalb BOZARTH in 1858.
Since there seems to be a connection between the HORNS and the BOZARTH families, I am wondering if the SAMUEL HORN who was a witness to a marriage bond in Hardin County, Kentucky, between ABNER BOZORTH and Frances "Fanny" MEANS on September 18, 1796 could be related in any way to the Thomas HORN(e) from Pennsylvania who was in that area of Kentucky at around the same time. I have no information on the parentage of Thomas HORN(e) so would like to find more information on Samuel HORN that might possibly show that they are related. Could Samuel HORN, in Kentucky in 1796, be the father of Thomas Horne (also in Kentucky at that time), or perhaps his brother? Any information would be greatly appreciated.
