Looking for info on John HORN & Elsie WALKER

John HORN was born in England - yr unknown. He married Elsie WALKER. Together they had a child, Bertha HORN. She was born Holland, Orleans, Vermont on July 4th 1873. She died November 18, 1932 residing in Lyndon Centre, Vermont. I received a certified death certificate for Bertha HORN last week. It states her Father as: John HORN b) England, Mother: Elsie Walker b) Unknown.

There is a census from 1910 with Bertha HORN...married to Homer W BENNETT, (their son, Winfield BENNETT is my Grandfather's dad), where Bertha states her dad was born in England and her mom born in Scotland. My Grandfather and Grandmother don't know anything about Bertha's parentage.

I can locate a John HORN b) England and Elsie WALKER b) PQ, in an 1880 census - but not with a daughter named Bertha. There is a Grandaughter, Ethel M.A. who is 6 and born VT. But the census says her dad was born VT and mother born KY.

Then there is an Ontario Marriage record for 1857-1922 for a John HORN b) England and Elsie WALKER b) Scotland who were married in Ontario on Feb 12 1873.

So, what are the chances they are my John and Elsie? Maybe John was married before Elsie and had Bertha or vice-versa. I cannot find anything with a John HORN and daughter Bertha or Elsie HORN/WALKER with a daughter Bertha.

Can anyone help me sort this out or have info on Bertha's folks? Great admiration and gratitude will follow. (O:
