Thanks for your reply and the information. Recently, John has sent alot of information I am going through. I am also struggling with my mom to find my grandmother's boxes of genealogy information. I know there are some jewels in there and it is hope it can be found again. For example, when I was a teenager, I was going through the boxes and a copy of a letter from Wm Penn to one of the Hartsocks caught my eye. I knew who he was as a teenager.

Yes, I did find that Ben Jr. was married to Sarah Clouse first until her death on 13 Aug 1847. In fact, the two daughters from this union stayed with the Clouse's after the migration of Ben and Lucinda to Indiana. Sarah probably stayed because she was probated with a guardian due to classification as an "idiot." An ugly term that a psych major like myself cringes at.

I can email you what I have presently from Ben Jr and descendents if that is useful. It is still a work in progress, but when is it not in genealogy :o)
