Mary Mae Hartsough writes that Pieter had a son, Englebert, and gave no other info about him. It makes sense that Pieter had a son Englebert because Pieter's father was Englebert. WMG (July 1988) 4:112 records the baptism of Engelbert Hertzog, age 20 y 4m at Glade Reformed Church at Walkersville, MD May 27, 1770. Is this Pieter's son or grandson? Would appreciate comments from anyone. (Anna) Margritha Schmidten/Hertzog was 46 in 1750 and Margaret Kones/Hertzog was 38 in 1750. We have to remember 55 year old Margaret Hertzog was living at Monacacy Manor in 1759. Many of Pieter and Margaret's descendants attended Glade Reformed Church.
