I'm still trying to find a connection. It just seems logical that there could be one. What I have so far is that William Brewer Sr. sold land to John Fletcher & a few others to build a church on in May 1769. George & Sarah Lanier Brewer were supposedly buried in the Brewer cemetery by Rattle snake Creek. There was a John Fletcher I found with a son named Richard? The Brewer's I have so far with Fletcher in their name are: My grgrgrgrandfather Jacob Fletcher Brewer b.1795 in GA, parents?
William Fletcher Brewer b.C1802 Elbert Co. GA
& Mary Fletcher Brewer b.1850 Carrolton, MS daughter of Leroy Brewer(William Fletcher Brewer's brother). Middle names were so often taken from surnames in the family or someone close to the family. There are lots of possible connections, but where? Thanks for your reply. Rob Brewer
