I am looking for any information about a Fauver family who lived in Pittsgrove Township, Salem County, New Jersey, during the Revolutionary War. There were four men of that name who served in the Revolution; at least three of them (probably all four) were brothers. At least one of them was born in Gloucester County, N.J. Two of them moved to Bridgeton, Cumberland County, N.J., after the Revolution. Three of them applied for Revolutionary War pensions. They were: George Fauver, born 1752, Gloucester County, N.J. Died in Ohio. Henry Fauver, born about 1760. Frederick Fauver, born about 1762. Buried in Bridgeton (Commerce Street Methodist cemetery). Joseph Fauver. Died 1806, buried in Bridgeton (Broad Street Presbyterian cemetery). Any information about their birthplace(s), parents, or relatives, would be appreciated. Note that the name is also spelled Fanver, Faver, Fawer, Fawver, and Forver in the early records. Notify Administrator about this message?
