1783 Mtg. Deed Pittsgrove Twp, Salem County, NJ
surnames: Clark, Fauver, Patterson, Rowan, Vanmeter.

Joseph Fauver, Mortgagor to Robert Patterson, Mortgagee; For all that certain Lot of Land which the said Joseph Fauver
by an Indenture bearing Date (no date given) & bounded by land of Avery (?) and David Clarke and Vanmeter
containing by Computation Twelve Acres and is situate in Pittsgrove afores'd., together with all & singular the Buildings,
Improvements, Herediaments, and Appurtenances to the said lot of Land and Premises belonging or in any way
appertaining to have & to hold the said Lot of Land and other the Premises hereby granted and every part there with their
and every of his appurtenances unto the sd. Robert Patterson, his Heirs & Assigns to the sole & only proper in and behoof
of the sd. Robt. Patterson his Heirs & Assigns for ever. Provided always never the less that if he, the said Joseph Favour,
his Heirs, Executors, or Administrators, shall well & truly pay or Cause to be paid unto the said Robert Patterson, his
Executors, Administrators or Assigns the afores'd. Debt or sum of Fifty Pounds lawful Money of the State afores'd. on the
Day and time herein before mentioned and appointed for payment thereof, according to the Condition of the Afores'd.
recited Obligation, together with the Interest, without fraud or further Delay, and without any Deduction, Defaleation or
Abstation to be made of any Thing, for or in receipt of Taxes, Charges, or assessments, whatever, that then, & from
thence forth as well this present Indenture and the Estate thereby granted the said Obligation shall become void and of
none effect any thing Contained to the Contrary not withstanding - In Witness whereof the said Joseph Fauvour has
hereunto set his Hand and Seal the Day and Year first herein written.

Mortgage Deed dated the Seventh Day of November 1783 and acknowledged the Eight day of Nov. 1783 - Principal Sum
Fifty pounds lawful Money with Interest for the same on or before the Twelfth Day of February next ensuing the above
date.

Mortgage Deed brought to the Office and Recorded the 10th of Novr. 1783 - Jno. Rowan, Clk.
Note on margin of page 126 - This Mortgage was discharged, the Money paid and the Mortgage Deed canceled the 12th
day of Feb. 1786 - Rowan , Clk.
