Dan,
The B.W. (Benjamin Washington) Fauver and the W.N. (William Nelson) Fauver were sons of Atchmit Fauver of East Feliciana Parish, LA.. The Atchmit Fauver Cemetery, aka East Cemetery, I believe. W.N. Fauver was married to Josephine Gore, d/o Ellis Gore & Amanda (Cook) Simpson .
Are you related to these LA. Fauvers ? My interest is in trying to find what happened to the sister of Ellis Gore, Mary Gore, who married Benjamin Grubbs. Benjamin Grubbs died in 1836 and by 1837 Mary (Gore) Grubbs was married to
a George Lucas and they seem to have disappeared. Benjamin & Mary Grubbs had a son, Dewitt Clinton Grubbs, born abt. 1835. In 1850 Dewitt C. Grubbs was living with Widow Amanda Gore as was William Nelson & Josephine (Gore) Fauver. Trying to find out more about Dewitt C. Grubbs also.
Dickie
