I'm not sure if this will help out, But my Great Grandfather was from Virgina. He died in a cole mine cave-in, His name was Charles. His Son Norvel my Grandfather moved to Michigan to live with his Siter Dorothy. I grew up next his sister, and in the neighbor hood lived some Swietzers. Now I'm not sure if they moved up form Illnois or not. I will have to check with my Dad on that part.
