I am trying to determine the relationship between the Febel/Fables in Alabama during the time period of 1850-1870.Are Leopold, born about 1808, and Jacob, born about 1813, brothers? Jacob also had a son Leopold Phillip born about 1848. Obviously Leopold and Phillip are traditional family names. I would like to get them connected before I start looking for them in Germany.
Did Daniel inherit Leopold's property in Talapoosa county? I haven't been able to visit the court house to search the land records and look for a probate for Leopold.
Do you know anything about the Napoleon Fable in Talapoosa county on the 1870 census?
If any of this matches with your information please send me you e-mail address.
