Hi Kevin,
My father's name is Brian Gray Robinson. He was born with the surname Pearce, but changed it by deed poll as a young adult, as his step-father's surname was Robinson. As stated in the original post he only saw his father once in his lifetime, when he was 6 weeks old.
His biological father was Theodore Charles Pearce, who was the son of Edward Theodore Pearce and Ada Dews Scoble.
