We would like to find descendants of Sophie Deslauries dit Legault, b. about 1827. Her second marriage was to Celestin Boudreau and her first marriage was to Alfred Legris about 1856.
I have the following information on her and her family:
Celestin BOURDREAU to Sophia DELORRIS on 8/31/1860 in KANKAKEE County.
1860 census. Page 24, Beaverville, Iroquois county. I think
that I found the A Boud-? Age 34 With wife Celcile age 33. children are Adeline, age 7, Celestin, age 4, and Celestin, age 33.
On the next page, 3 houses away is Ant. Legris, age 56 with wife Marie, 31, dau Aglai?, age 8, Esilda, age 7, Marie, age 5, and Sophie Legris, age 33. with children, Theophile, age 11, Napoleon, age 8, Hermine, age 1 and
Pamela, age 2/12.

Celestin Boudreau's brother was Alphonse Boudreau b. 1825 and he was married to Cecile Allain of St. Anne, Kankakee County, Illinois. They had four children, only only three reached adulthood. Adeline, Charles Celestin and Angeline, all born in St. Anne. They left Illinois in 1868 and settled in Dakota County, Nebraska.
We hope to find new cousins that can help us find the history of our ancestors.
