I believe there were actually 3 Nazaires. It does get confusing, doesn't it? There was a Nazaire Dame who married Adeline Tessier 26 May 1846 at Rouville, Quebec. They had a son Nazaire born 7 Feb 1847 at St. Cesaire. He married Elizabeth Dame (daughter of Nazaire Dame and Rosa Dumas) on 29 Dec 1890. Then the 3rd was, of course, the Nazaire Dame that married Rosa Dumas 25 Apr 1867 in Ashburnham, MA.
I do believe that Elizabeth Dame who married a Nazaire Dame were most likely cousins but I haven't done enough research to determine if my guess is factual.
