Ann Dame d of Joseph and Abigail Leathers

I am interested in the ancestry of Ann Dame's husband, Elliot G. Burnham. She was b. abt 1794 to Joseph Dame and Agigail Leathers in Durham, Strafford, NH. Her husband, Elliot G. Burnham, was b. perhaps 1 Aug. 1796 and died 10 Apr 1852 in a drowning with his father, John Burnham b. abt 1770, in the Piscataqua River. They had two children of whom I am aware: Joseph Pinder Burnham b. abt 1825 and Caroline Burnham b. abt. 1822.

Any help on John's ancestry would be most appreciated.
