BENLD - Paul LaDame, 82, of Benld died Monday, Nov. 6, 2006, at his home.
He was born June 20, 1924, in Mount Clare, the son of Joseph and Rose Albo LaDame. He married Eleanor Milcic in 1946 in Benld.
Mr. LaDame graduated from Benld High School in 1942. He retired as an operator from Shell Refinery in Wood River. He was a member of Croatian Fraternal Union Lodge 217 in Benld, Benld Centennial Committee and St. Joseph's Church in Benld and served as president of the board of the Frank Bertetti Benld Public Library. He formerly served as mayor of Mount Clare and Gillespie Township supervisor.
Survivors: wife, Eleanor; two daughters, Cathy Jo (husband, Michael) Baldwin of Benld and Paula Kay (husband, Mark) Neuhaus of Staunton; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Services: 10 a.m. Thursday, St. Joseph's Church, Benld, Monsignor Larry Auda officiating. Burial: Benld Cemetery.
Kravanya Funeral Home in Benld is in charge of arrangements.
