My great grandfather/great grandmother were Hardy Gunn and Martha McDonald Culver. My grandmother was Sarah Alice Culver. Her siblings were A. W. (Gus) Culver, born 2-15-1855; W. R. (Billie) Culver born 2-3-1859; W. J. (Warren) born 07-2-1863; twins J. G. and J. A. (Gault and Joe) born 3-2-1870; and Mary Kindness Culver, born May 26, 1876. Sarah Alice was born 1-20-1867 between Warren and twins, Gault and Joe.

I have Luther Culver, Carrie C. Heaton, Mary C. Hill, and Clarence Culver and possibly Robert and Clara as children of Gus and Dice Culver. Know Gus had a total of 11 children in reading an obit for Clarence B. Culver. My mother, my Aunt Maude, and I visited Clarence in Muskogee in 1987 and he passed in 1988.

Robert Culver, son of Billie and Nannie Culver.

Laura Burns, Rose, Bursha, Lena, Kindness, and Zula as children of Warren and his wife may have been Exie.

Gault's children as Roy, Lillian and Jack, and wife Hattie.

Joe's children as Clyde Eugene, Lawrence Love, Maude Estelle, Earl Fay, Fred Aubrey, and Rupert Austin, and wife Mary.

Sarah Alice's children, Maude Ragsdale, Claude Pass, Clyde Pass, Glenn Pass, Grace Pass Stamey, Elbert Hardy Pass, and Pearl Pass Tucker (my mother). Alice was married first to R. Sidney Pattillo but died in 1890 and they had no children. She married Joseph L. Pass in 1892.

Kindness Culver had at least two children, Guy and Louise White, and was married to Jim White.

My grandmother, Alice Culver Pass, was the only Culver who remained in GA when the rest of the family moved to OK. She kept up with her family by correspondence and talked about them and I always felt I knew them. I lived in Muskogee OK 1956 to 1959 and my mother and Aunt Maude visited us in OK and met some of their first cousins. They put up a marker to Martha McDonald's grave (their grandmother) in Miller Cemetery. I knew Hardy Gunn was not buried there and have just found out where he is buried. When I looked on the map and saw places like Stigler and Stilwell, I knew my grandmother had relatives in those areas because I remember seeing mail addressed to those towns by her. I also notice in the Clarence Culver obit that he was born in Stigler in 1896.

I would like to communicate with anyone who has ties to Hardy Gunn and Martha McDonald Culver. I live in Woodstock, GA.
