Lydia West was born in NY, 1825. She married Loren Culver, date unknown, in Elk Creek, Erie, PA where she was living with her family. I'm assuming they married between 1840 and 1850.
Loren Culver left Lydia, breaking her heart. Family story says she died of a broken heart.
I found a Loren Culver living in Elk Creek with Rhoda and children in 1850.
could this be the women he left Lydia for? Is it even the same Loren?
Lydia is the daughter of William P. West and Lucy Parks. Her sister, Maranda, married Hiram Jacob Kirkland.
Can anyone tell me about Loren Culver in Elk Creek, Erie, Pennsylvania around 1830-1850?
