George Culver b. abt. 1760 m. Elizabeth Ann Ellis b. abt 1775. Their son was named Levin Ellis Culver b. 1775 in Georgia and the family eventually moved on to Coosa Co. Alabama.

Levin Culver may well be named after his maternal grandfather?

Jim Culver on this forum has done extensive research on this line of Culver.
