Thanks for the info. Yes, the Colver line that I descend from is part of this family. Your discussion on the other page is interesting. "Colver - Culver Family Genealogy" by Valerie Dyer Giorgi also has a dicussion not all that different from your points as to John Colver's marriage. This book has been of great help to me.
