Nice to see that someone else is looking for a Kostenbader. Good Luck! They are really hard to find.
I started out looking for Kustaborders as this was my mothers name. However, this came to a dead end very soon. When I put the name in Soundex, it came back Kostenbader. So, I have been looking ever since.
I have been told that the progenitor of this line is Johann Heinrich Kostenbader. You can find this line in Gencircles, and on the Kustaborder Board at Rootsweb.
I have yet to find my direct ancestor, however.I did find today a Morris, son of Jacob, son of J.H. K. Perhaps this is your Morris.
