I have a Timothy Colver b. 1738, m. Martha Sovereen. I believe he was born in Monmouth Co., NJ as the family was living there about that time. Their migration was CT>Morris Co., NJ>Monmouth Co., NJ>Morris County, NJ. In 1748, his father, Robert Colver ("of Monmouth County") bought land in Morris County.
