Joseph Clement, died on Staten Island, NY. (soldier in the Rev). In 1805, in Sussex County, NJ., he married Hannah Hazen, d/o either Samuel or Ezra Hazen. Children; Augustus who married Caroline Lyons, and died in Sunbury, Northumberland Co. PA.; Sarah, who married 1st to a Mr. Hazen, 2nd to Dr. Woolbridge, she died at Buchman, Mich.; Ira T. After the death of Joseph Clement his widow married Solomon Smith, of Amherst, Mass., they moved to Ohio. Solomon Smith died in Ohio, and Hannah (Hazen) Clement Smith went to Sunbury, PA. She died there June 28, 1868. She was born April 12, 1785 in Woodbury, NJ.
