My g-g-g-g-g-g-g-g-grandmother, Anna Clement, was proclaimed to marry John Leitch on 4th December 1698 in Fowlis Wester, Perthshire, Scotland:
"Sab, December 4th
...John Leitch and Anna Clement both in this par, having given up their names were proclaimed in order to future marraige and payed in to ye box ye ordinary dues three Bsloz (amount unreadable, but from reverend's running total at side, works out at 1pound 6pence).
The parties named above were proclaimed for the 2nd time."
They had at least one son:
John Leitch b: 1703 (approx) d: 17??
Possibly a daughter, Anne Leitch b: 27/7/1716
Any additional info on Anna and family would be welcome.
