Mohawks in Brooklyn

In the 40s and 50s there was a community of Mohawk families, mostly from Caughnawagha Reserve, Que., living in Brooklyn. They had migrated to NY to work on the skyscrapers during the great building boom earlier in the century. I have relatives descended from Mary Claus Montour & Pierre Montour in these families. Her daughters were named Louise Montour Hall, Marguerite Montour White, Marie Montour McLaughlin, Anne Montour Grottle, Cecile Montour Kotile, Esther Montour Phillips. Does anyone have connections?
